Varese Sarabande Club Releases for July..

For anyone who doesn't doesn't know what Varese Sarabande is, it's a label that releases a lot of movie soundtracks. Varese Sarabande releases "Club" CD's which are special CDs. Movie scores that have never been released, or expanded releases, etc. They're usually limited to 3,000 or so prints. It depends. Today they released the CDs available for the month of July (they do them every 4 months or so I think..I'm not sure.) Out of the four two of them are already sold out..

"Sky Bandits" by Alfi Kabiljo (was limited to 1,000 prints and is sold out already..).
"An Unfinished Life - CD CLub" by Christopher Young (this is ALSO sold out already as well. Not sure how many were issued..)
"The War Of The Roses Also Includes: The Sandlot" by David Newman (Limited to 2,000 copies..still available.)
"Gloria" by Bill Conti (Limited to 2,000 copies...still available.)

If anyone is interested in those titles, at least the ones still available, you can buy them here.

You don't really need anything special to order them despite the fact that the word "Club" is in the title. As long as you have an account, which you can make as you order the CDs even if they're part of the club releases, you can order them. Unfortunately I've never heard of any of those movies so..I did not purchase any of them. Anyways, I figured I'd post this just incase it interests SOMEONE...

Coming soon: There's a couple of things, depends on my mood: "An American Haunting," which is a film from 2005 and "The Lost World." The latter of the previously mentioned films is from like..1928 and is the first ever giant monster disaster movie. Very interesting...

Hi Kevin...didn't know who Vareses Sarabande was or what it was all about....thanks for the info! I was married to the bassist in " A Group Called Smith"...just learned that their album from 1969 was re-issued thru Varese with 5 bonus tracks! Oh, did you know Smith was also featured in the new movie from Quentin Tarantino "Death Proof"! Very nice! Thanks again!
