Put a Bullet In It Please..

I'm talking about the Scary Movie series. I threw in a DVD about an hour ago and there was a preview for "Scary Movie 4," and it looked fucking atrocious. Watching the preview alone made me aggrivated. Why? It aggrivated me because these douches get to record such garbage and yet if I had the chance I could probably make something way better then any of that trash. How depressing....

Adam Sandlers Return To Decent Films????

So yeah, I watched the movie "Click," recently and it suprised me. I was prepared to click this shit off...but suprisingly I didn't have the urge too.

"Click (2006)"

So..yeah, I love those lame critic jokes. They're so..boringly un-funny.. Anywyas, First off I want to say that this movie has like..the blandest fucking movie poster ever. They could've done some cool stuff and instead did something really boring. It's a shame.

Regarding the movie...I expected to hate it. The past like 2 Adam Sandler flicks were barely mediocre Romantic Comedies..this one surprised me. Why? It's nicely set up: The first hour is comedy and the second hour is drama. I was suprised.

So the basic premise is Sandlers character goes out to get a universal remote and ends up getting some remote that skips past parts of his life and stuff like that. So it's all fun and games until the remote starts skipping huge gaps of time on it's own...that's where the drama ensues.

So all the acting is quite good. Sandler is a good actor, I wish he would tackle more drama roles. Sandler plays the father, Kate Beckinsale plays his wife, Christopher Walken is the guy who gives Sandler the remote and that's basically the main cast right there. There's a lot of people in this movie because as time moves forward Sandlers kids get older and there's totally different actors for all of them but almost everyone holds their own in this which was quite surprising.

So as I said the beginning is good. It sets everything up nicely and a bulk of the comedy is in this area. There are surprisingly a lot of laughs here too. Something that a lot of Adam Sandler flicks have been lacking. I personally like all the O'Doyle neighbor jokes. Good stuff.

Then the remote starts to pass through huge gaps of time..the drama ensues. Lots of sad stuff, Sandlers character basically turns into a money-hungry douche and loses a lot of what he cares about thanks to the remote...the ending was very..meh. I knew what was going to happen, lets just say that.

Overall I was surprised at how above average this movie was. Sandlers past couple of flicks have really put a stain on his name I think and a lot of serious movie-goers judged this movie beforehand and assumed it was another Romantic Comedy. I did..but lets be honest here, the trailers sure as hell made it out to be a Romantic Comedy. The trailers kept that drama hidden..at least from what I remember they did.

I definately suggest you check "Click," out. It was much better then I expected it to be and while it's nothing great chances are that when you finish watching it you won't feel like you wasted your time..which can't be said about some previous Adam Sandler films (including ones he produced.. *Cough* "Grandma's Boy." *Cough*)

What's Going on with Kevin?

Basically here's what's been up with me: People are fucked up, big time. While I'm pretty annoyed, pissed off and upset with everything that has happened in the past month I've decided that I am totally going to keep posting. The posts may not be so frequent, but they will be made, I promise.

In the mean-time go and buy My Chemical Romance's new CD "The Black Parade," which was released today! It rocks and I am going to stop by work tomorrow to legally purchase a copy of it for myself. I posted a review for it a couple of days ago and if you're interested in it you can find it below this post.

Stay tuned, I may have a post done tomorrow.

Hands Down, Best Album of the Year....

I have returned for my post regarding the new My Chemical Romance CD. I don't know if I'm going to have more posts after this.. I might. I'm not 100% sure yet.

Anyways. The new My Chemical Romance CD leaked yesterday in a couple of different ways. On this site the whole CD was uploaded for people to listen to. That's an official band site, so they did it for a reason. Also the CD was leaked by someone who ripped it as well yesterday and that's the version I have and have been listening to almost non-stop since I got it! At least that's the version I have it until Monday when I can go out and pick my own copy up..

So the CD. It's fucking amazing. My Chemical Romance's music has evolved...so much it's ridiculous. They've learned different styles and the CD is just flat out freaking amazing. The first two MCR's CD's were concept albums (my favorite kind of album,) and this one has a pretty cool concept. This guy known only as The Patient dies. The Patients fondest memory is going to see a parade with his father when he was a child so when he dies death comes to him in the form of a black parade. He then goes on an odyssey and examines his life and the mistakes he's made.

I don't think there's one track on the CD I don't like. Not only are all the songs awesome and good almost every single one of them has a unique sound to it and none of them sound the same. What's so interesting about this CD is they've adapted these new styles and they perform them PERFECTLY. They've also brought in new instruments such as the piano and there's even some violins thrown in throughout the album and they use them perfectly. Some of the songs on hear will sound like good old MCR and then some of these tracks sound like they're classic rock songs. The track "Teenagers," I swear to god sounds like it could be straight out of the 70's. The guitar solo in it especially.

Like I said, there's good old MCR on here to. Song examples: "The Sharpest Lives," reminds me a bit of their first CD "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love." "This Is How I Disappear," and "Dead!" remind me of their second album "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge." Then there's songs like the single "Welcome to the Black Parade," "Disenchanted," and "Famous Last Words," which just sound incredibly unique. There's just so much on this album to enjoy...I can't explain it.

Another thing I love about the album: It's long. 51 minutes. Their last album was just over 39. Also half of the songs are over 4 minutes. Great stuff. I'm just incredibly happy I've got another bad-ass MCR CD to add to my collection.

I'm so happy with MCR and they are still officially one of my all-time favorite bands and after this album I'm pretty sure they can do no wrong. I can't really say what my favorite tracks off the album are cause I'm weird with MCR. There are songs that I will like at first and then two months later I'll love them more then anything but I guess at the moment I would have to say "Teenagers," "Famous Last Words," and "Cancer." Such an amazing album. If this album doesn't get people to stop calling MCR emo (which by my knowledge they fucking aren't,) then I don't know what the hell will.

As the title of my post says..My Chemical Romance's new album "The Black Parade," is without a doubt for me the best album of the year. Go and fucking listen to it and buy it on Tuesday when it comes out.

Hell Has Consumed My Life..

So I was really trying to get some stuff done on here but for almost the whole past week I've been dealing with total hell in my life. There's no other way to describe all the bullshit that's been going on for the past week..it's just been complete hell. Things are set to continue to be a complete disaster and if they do I will be honest in saying that I don't know if I can be confidently posting on here with posts up to quality with the rest of them.

I will probably have one more post including what I think of the new My Chemical Romance CD which comes out October 24th and that's only because I am completely in love with them. As for my "hiatus," or whatever the fuck you want to call it all I can say is if you're a regular reader (do these even exist for my site?) keep checking in and hopefully all of this hell that has consumed my life won't bother me for to long. Thanks for the patience...

Excuse Me While I Become a Woman

Season 6 of "The Simpsons," has one of the most amazingly adorable episodes ever in it. The episode is titled "And Maggie Makes Three," and it's about how Homer quits his job for his dream job then due to the birth of Maggie has to go back to his old job. It's just really sweet and "moving." You should all make an attempt to see it....

Entertainment Purchases...

Last week I picked up the soundtrack for the second season of "Lost," by Michael Giacchino and it's awesome. It's 10x better then the first season CD. The first season CD overused the fate theme. Don't get me wrong, I like the fate theme but it was just used way to much on the first season soundtrack release. While the fate theme is used in the second season it's nowhere near as overused as it is on the first season release. The second season soundtrack release also introduces a theme for the others that is really awesome. It's a great release..I'm very happy with it. :::)

-Incase you don't know what that is you should go and read "Just Thoughts."

Although this has nothing to do with movies, I don't care. This week with the little money I had left to spare I picked up The Killers new CD titled "Sam's Town." The lead singer has such a nice voice. The CD is awesome but I am in love with the lead singers vocals. Like the notes he hits with his style of voice should be annoying...but they're not. It's just..awesome and makes you want to sing. Basically..I'm in love with his voice...and yeah. Is that gay? Ha, I love The Killers...like, they released "Hot Fuss," and the single "Somebody Told Me," I hated and was played way to much but once I listened to the whole CD and heard all the other great shit on the CD I was totally liking them but their new CD makes them one of my all time favorite new bands along with My Chemical Romance..To me they're just bringing something to the world of music that no one else is. As you can tell I'm also very happy with this purchase as well.

If you haven't gone out and bought "Sam's Town," please do! It's really, really, REALLY fucking good. I'll have a movie review up maybe later tonight...I've got a test on Tuesday and work tomorrow..so I don't know how the hell I'm going to get my studying in. There's no way I can study tonight and remember. I have to study the night before or last minute..that's just the way my mind works. -Sigh.- Being in such a predicament sucks..I hope I don't fail.... :::(

Big Night!

Tonight is the season premiere of the wonderful show known as "Lost." Unfamiliar with the show? A plane crashes on an island and a bunch of people are stuck on the island. It starts off as a survival show but turns into something extremely different as we see weird things going on in the jungle and one of the characters (John Locke played by Terry O'Quinn) finds a underground hatch. The second season takes a different turn and there are problems within' the survivors over leadership and co-operating with each other.

I can't wait to see what this new season brings. I'm so excited! The first episode from season 3 airs at 9 O'Clock, Eastern time. Also the soundtrack for season 2 came out yesterday and it's WAY better then the soundtrack for the first season. Definately check it out if you like original scores.
