Not much opening this weekend..so if this update turns out to be short, please excuse it..
"Superman Returns:" Well...this is the BIG movie of the weekend. Superman..returns. Plot explained. No other movie going up against it except for one. This actually came out on Wed. but oh well. Anyways...so far, I've heard two complaints about the movie being long (one of them was from a complete dumbass customer who comes into our store so...his opinion = Matters not at all.) It boggles my fucking mind why people complain about a movie being to long, it really does. If it's a good film, then who cares if it's long? Plus you're getting your moneys worth out of the theatre. I would rather see a movie that's 3 hours long and love it then see a movie an hour and 25 minutes long and love it..Makes NO sense to me. Personally I'm not a huge fan of Superman and even I still somewhat want to see this. Hell, seeing the Spider-Man 3 teaser on the big screen is let alone with the admission.. But I won't be, unfortunately. I'm keeping my money to see "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest," next week. "Superman Returns" looks like it's definately worth checking out though...Eventually I will be.

"The Devil Wears Prada": O'Kay..so yeah. This movie is about a being a fashion designers assistant when the designer is a real bitch. This is somewhat based on a true story..but what I love is that Meryl Streep, in the movie, looks nothing like the woman she's portraying. From the pictures that I saw on T.V. the other day..nothing alike. Ann Hathaway plays her assistant. This movie had one of the most boring trailers I've ever seen..it was literally a 2 minutes long scene from the movie where Ann Hathaway goes to be interviewed by Meryl Streep..That's IT. This is most likely a film that girls/homosexual guys will be EXCITED to see.

"Who Killed The Electric Car?": Limited release...this sounds quite interesting...it's about how the electric car was at a time an amazing invention and the future of automobiles and as the title suggests..they're not and the idea of that is far dead. Tom Hanks is in it..and I love Tom Hanks. I don't know 100% the point this movie tries to put across but I think it's about how big oil companies still have money to make, so the electric car was slammed by them, same for manufactorers because I assume it would cost more to make the electric car..These are assumptions. I may be wrong. In fact..I'm second guessing whether I should type them, but hey. What the hell. Tom Hanks is in it as.....HIMSELF. Ouuu, Tom Hanks playing Tom Hanks, interesting. Anyways, here's the link if you want to look up some more information, I didn't find that much but I am quite interested in this movie and hope to check it out..

I am totally not sure but I think "Strangers With Candy," the movie based off the show out in very limited release this week, or next week. I'm really not sure because on IMDB it says this week but on the opening this weekend page it's not there, it's on next weeks page. I don't know..I'm just gonna put in next weeks. Soooo yeah.
That's it. I'll have something up later tonight I think. If not later tonight then definately Sunday. Enjoy your weekend..
